I have decided to do Sundays down at the 'Rose st. artists market' in Fitzroy till Christmas. I tried one out a few months ago and it was totally washed out!
I still I got to chat to new stall holders and i actually made money from the odd 20 people that braved gale force winds and non stop rain!
So if you are down that way pop in. I'm not sure what stall space i will be at as there is a regular Sunday peep in 'my' space but I'm sure it will be just as smashing or so Christan promises.
See market window for the dates.
cheers!

This is a project that I have been involved with for quite sometime, but due to the financial situation it was put on hold for a year. The website was just launched this week and I must say that I'm very excited to have been asked to take part, very flattered indeed!
There are designers from all over place, Japan, USA, England Germany and Canada. Leticia Maguire from Artish is the other Australian label involved with the project.
There are 10 designers all up. Each designer was asked to think of the sky and design an object to reflect this theme.
So I guess Linogirl has become a bit more international!

Hi,
I have decided to go ahead with making more of these linogirl girls. They have been much admired at the Rose st market and I'm met with much disappointment when i say that they are not for sale. They had met with a disastrous fate on their final fire and both have a slit in the backs of their dresses. It's not very lady like really.
I'm hoping that I have resolved this issue in the next group that I have made. I have sculpted five new linogirl girls and they are patiently drying on my studio shelf. They will get their faces in two weeks time. It such a cold snap that I don't want to risk them not being fully dry before I paint them.
I'm thinking that they will make their debut mid Aug. I will keep you posted as to how they are going.

Hi!
'Inside out' magazine contacted me earlier in the year to see if I was interested in appearing in theirJune/July issue. I was really flattered to be contacted as I always assumed that you had to send tempting objects to them to be noticed.

I was also contacted by 'Real Living in December of 2008 but I have yet to seen in their pages. I had however a lovely time being photographed by James the photographer!
